See the light
Looks like some Labour MPs (and former MPs) are beginning to realise that far from keeping extremist parties from power, the current flawed first-past-the-post system is actually pandering to them. The Independant - Electoral reform "would hold back BNP and give Labour fifth term"The voting system is helping extreme political parties, senior Labour figures said last night. Labour MPs and peers warned that the first-past-the-post system was allowing "safe" seats to become a breeding ground for extremists.
