Eat my shirts
Iain Dale is bitching over Blears again... this time about the provider of her promotional t-shirts.
But before you get worked up about this 'story', you need to be aware that many online publishers use Spreadshirt as a supplier of t-shirts and other promotional items.
Even Iain's blog-chum Paul Staines has a Spreadshirt shop that is quietly gathering dust.
Singling out the ginger meatbag in this way smacks of opportunism (of the cheap and rather desperate variety) and, as ContraTory notes under comments; "It would be interesting to learn who she was "grassed up" by, though. It was probably a supporter of one of the other deputy leader candidates. Clearly the deputy leadership contest is going to be a good, clean fight."
If there's a Blears-related story in this, that's where it is... but Iain missed it, because he was too busy being a useful idiot.
(PS - I was mildly curious see if the t-shirts used to promote David Davis during the Conservative leadership contest were supplied by Spreadshirt, and so had a peek at an archived version of modernconservatives.com via The Wayback Machine. No obvious shopping links presented themselves, but I did discover that the related weblog at http://daviddavismp.blogspot.com/ has - like so many other abandoned weblogs - been hijacked by a porn merchant... hopefully of the ethical variety.)
